This St. Patrick's Day join the Liquid Luck Brigade!
COR is looking for more than 200 volunteers for Saturday, March 13th, 2010 to serve beer at the St. Pats in Five Points Festival.
Two shifts available: 9:00-2:00pm and 2:00-7:00pm.
You must be at least 21 years of age. Help serve beer at the festival, have fun and help the community ALL AT THE SAME TIME! Local non-profit organziations receive thousands of dollars from festival (and beer!) proceeds.
FREEBIE ALERT! Volunteers receive free admission to the festival ($15 value) AND a free t-shirt! There will also be a FREE volunteer party after the festival, date TBA.

About The Festival:
Now in its 27th year, Columbia’s St. Pat’s in Five Points Festival is one of the biggest bashes in the Southeast, with more than 30,000 people attending annually. Continually growing and improving, the 2010 festival will include a 5K Run and one mile walk, fun-filled parade, expanded family entertainment, enhanced food and craft offerings, a special shag area honoring our state dance, a kid-approved Childrens' Carnival as well as four stages on live music hosting over 20 musical acts. Each year, local non-profit organizations provide volunteers who contribute man hours to make St. Pat’s in Five Points possible. Despite inclement weather during the 2009 festival, over 30 local charities were awarded contributions totaling over $38,000 from festival proceeds. The success of St. Pat’s in Five Points has allowed for nearly $2 million to benefit local charities over the celebrations 26-year history. |
