Mission

The Midlands Young Professionals Alliance is a collaboration of diverse young professional organizations in the Midlands that generates an atmosphere of unity through social, recreational, and cutural activities which stimulates a foundation for relationship building and group interaction through the social and sporting culture of Columbia.

Goals

1. Expose COR to the community.
2. Build partnerships through events between COR and other civic groups.
3. Design opportunities for COR members to network.
4. Assist other committees in event planning.
5. Produce the best and most diverse parties and social events in Columbia through collaboration.

Ongoing Projects

• Holiday Social - COR brings together all of the young professional groups in Columbia to have one big party over the holidays. The Columbia Museum of Art's Contemporaries, the Columbia Urban League's Columbia Young Professionals, Historic Columbia's Palladium Society, the Black Tie Network, the United Way of the Midlands Young Leaders, and the Greater Columbia Chamber of Commerce's Leadership Columbia Alumni Association ALL come together for one night in the holiday spirit. • World Beer Festival in Columbia - Like beer?  Like people? Volunteer today!
