Mission

The Leadership Development Initiative encourages, nurtures and places effective leaders to invest in the future of Columbia.

Goals

1. Provide education and training opportunities for members to build and strengthen their leadership skills.
2. Foster and support COR members aspiring to hold leadership positions in the community.
3. Engage dialogue and strengthen business and community ties between current and emerging Columbia leaders.
4. Encourage COR members to participate on various boards and commissions within government, business, and civic organizations

• Mentoring Hub - COR has established many strategic alliances with organizations across the Midlands, many of which offer mentoring opportunities. This centralized resource catalogues opportunities for COR members to mentor or be mentored by leaders in the community. • Leadership Training - COR continues to align itself with organizations that provide leadership training opportunities such as Columbia College's Leadership Institute, the United Way of the Midlands, SCANPO and many more. As these opportunities arise, COR will make sure to get the word out!
