A native Columbian, I am an alumna of the University of South Carolina College of Mass Communications and Information Studies (CMCIS) with a BA in communications. Currently the member services director for the SC Association of Certified Public Accountants, I was previously on staff with the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association and Camp Kudzu, a charitable non-profit providing programs and services for Georgia’s children living with type I diabetes while living in Atlanta. I recently earned the Certified Association Executive credential, the highest professional credential in the association management profession and I am the youngest CAE in South Carolina. I hold a certificate in volunteer management from the Georgia Center for Nonprofits and another in membership marketing from the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE).
I'm actively involved in the Midlands community, currently serving as membership chair of Columbia Opportunity Resource (COR), co-chair of the USC CMCIS Alumni Society’s Mentoring Program and serving as an officer with the Lexington County Toastmasters Club. I am an active member of the American and South Carolina Societies of Association Executives, SC and Midlands Associations of Volunteer Administrators and the Columbia Meeting Planners’ Network.
I am a proud mother of a Jack Russell terrier, Mako, and an All-American Mutt, Dora, and spend free time enjoying meals and wine with family and friends, playing tennis with the Lexington Area Tennis Association (LATA), traveling, reading and exercising.
